Saba Shatara is an associate in the firm’s Tax Group. He represents and counsels corporate and individual clients in connection with a variety of tax matters, including federal and state income tax planning, tax controversies, and compliance issues. Prior to joining the firm, Saba was an associate with Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, where he focused primarily on employment litigation and counseling. While in law school, he served as a legal extern for the California State Board of Equalization’s Franchise & Income Tax Appeals Division and a judicial extern to both the Hon. Kathleen M. Banke, California Court of Appeal and the Hon. Kimberly J. Mueller, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California.
