On behalf of EOP, we acted as its counsel in the disposition of 25 suburban office properties in Northern California for $500 million to a joint venture of RREEF Funds and CalPERS. The transaction was completed in two phases. The second phase included EOP’s acquisition, by an IRC §1031 exchange, of two shopping center properties located in Orange County. Tom Prestwich headed up our transaction team, assisted by Laird Steverango (partner, real estate), Davia Love (senior counsel, real estate), Rita Schuman (senior counsel, real estate), and Karin Church (associate, real estate).
