Ron, a tax partner, handles all areas of federal and state income tax law, as well as state sales tax law. He has substantial experience counseling small and medium-sized businesses in a wide range of tax and legal issues, including bankruptcy and debt restructuring. Ron has handled income tax issues related to the formation and operation of partnerships and joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, and capital transactions (both debt and equity) for corporations, partnerships, and REITS. He also has in-depth experience with a variety of foreign transactions, principally inbound, and particularly in the portfolio debt area. Ron has extensive knowledge in the area of California state taxes, with special emphasis on sales tax issues.
